General Information Only
This document is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. You should consult your own legal counsel to ensure this policy meets your regulatory obligations.
This Privacy Policy explains how Adams+ Digital Solutions ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the ClientGate platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using ClientGate, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
ClientGate is a software platform operated by Adams+ Digital Solutions that provides multi-tenant infrastructure and client portals for digital agencies and similar businesses ("Agencies").
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us at:
- Email: support@adamsplusx.com
2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy describes how we handle information about:
- Visitors to our marketing and informational pages (such as this site).
- Agencies that register and use the ClientGate platform.
- End clients whose information is processed inside an Agency's ClientGate tenant.
For end clients, we primarily act as a service provider or processor to the Agency. Agencies are responsible for their own privacy notices and obligations toward their clients.
3. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and Agency information – including name, email address, password (hashed), agency name, contact details, billing details, and configuration preferences you provide when you create or manage an account.
- Platform usage data – such as pages viewed, features used, access dates and times, IP address, device and browser information, and similar technical data generated when you use the Service.
- Billing and payment data – such as transaction identifiers, subscription plan details, payment status, and related metadata. Card or mobile money details may be handled by integrated payment providers and not stored by us directly.
- Client and financial records – including your end clients' names, contact details, invoices, receipts, domains, and related records you decide to store in ClientGate. This information is controlled by the Agency.
- Support and communications – records of messages, emails, or other communications with our support team or account representatives.
4. How we use information
We use information for purposes including:
- Providing, operating, and maintaining the ClientGate platform.
- Authenticating users, securing accounts, and preventing fraud or abuse.
- Processing subscriptions, payments, and billing.
- Responding to support requests and communicating about the Service.
- Monitoring performance, usage, and trends to improve and optimize the platform.
- Sending important service-related announcements (such as security, billing, or status updates).
- Complying with applicable legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable data protection laws require a legal basis for processing, we rely on:
- Contract – to provide the Service under our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests – such as operating, securing, and improving our platform and services.
- Consent – for specific uses where we ask for your permission.
- Legal obligations – when we must retain or disclose data to comply with law.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information as follows:
- Service providers – with trusted vendors that help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, email, analytics, payment processing, and security providers), subject to appropriate contractual protections.
- Within an Agency – with authorized users belonging to the same Agency account, according to the roles and permissions configured in ClientGate.
- Legal, compliance, and protection – when required by law or valid legal process, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, customers, or the public.
- Business transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. International transfers
ClientGate may be hosted or accessed from locations outside your country of residence. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Agencies may control how long client records are kept within their own ClientGate tenant.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is completely secure, and Agencies are responsible for maintaining strong passwords, managing access to their accounts, and configuring client access appropriately.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as accessing, correcting, or deleting your personal information, or objecting to or restricting certain processing.
If you are an end client of an Agency using ClientGate, you should direct privacy requests (such as access or deletion) to that Agency, as they control your data inside the platform. We may assist the Agency in responding to such requests where required by law or contract.
11. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of any third parties you interact with.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. In some cases, we may provide additional notice (for example, via email or in-app notifications) if the changes are material.
